Comment: What a fabulous cottage. Well equipped, good location and loads of charm. Well I would say that i own the place. But honestly it is a great place to stay, sometimes I wish it wasn't so booked up and then I could spend more time there myself!

Comment: One of the best holidays ever! A lovely, well equipped, cosy, warm cottage in a fantastic setting. A really interesting little village with loads to see and do. The cottage is excellently placed near to a huge variety of walks, both long and short. We never managed to do everything in a week and will definitely want to go back to both the village and cottage again. A big thanks for providing such a great base for such a brilliant holiday!

Comment: We had a lovely week in Willow Thatch, so much so that we didn't want to come back home. The cottage is spacious yet cosy and has everything a family needs. Our first visit to Somerset, and we'll definitely return some time.

Comment: I loved Willow Thatch cottage and Dunster. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable. I was looking for a place with walks, some nice pubs and restaurants but not overrun with tourists (terrible to say as I am one, but still), and Dunster was perfect for this -- at least in October. I walked through Dunster forest numerous times and enjoying its peace and serenity. And then loved snuggling back into my little piece of Dunster as well!!

Comment: A very enjoyable relaxing break from the stresses of life - lovely weather and beautiful spring flowers. Very easy without a car and great walks and runs. The cottage was perfect and very well equiped. The family enjoyed coming for the weekend (we only live down the road in Taunton) and want to come back and were envious that I got to stay on for a mini sabbatical. I look forward to another break to recharge my batteries in the future!

Comment: We had a great week at Willow Thatch. Super cottage, cozy with everything we needed and a some nice touches such as toys/games and books. Excellent location with lots to do. Dunster is a gorgeous medieval village with a number of interesting shops, the tower and castle and great walks nearby. Our recommendations are "The Forresters Arms" opposite the cottage - Colin and Pat are very welcoming, good, simple food (no gastropub nonsense) - dog and child friendly too. Also Cream* cafe in Minehead and The Driftwood Cafe at Blue Anchor beach. A super spot and Alan, you have a gem of a cottage.
